Prof. Suresh Goyal is a distinguished academician, retired Professor, and former Head of the Department of Public Administration at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Over an illustrious career spanning several decades in teaching, research and academic administration, he has built rich, seasoned expertise in public policy, governance, administrative systems and institutional development.
He served as Coordinator of the UGC Special Assistance Programme (SAP) Research Centre at the University of Rajasthan, where he led advanced research initiatives, promoted interdisciplinary collaboration, mentored research scholars, and contributed to the development of policy-oriented academic programmes. Over the course of his academic career, he has guided numerous postgraduate and doctoral scholars and authored several research publications in the field of Public Administration.
Even after retirement, Prof. Goyal continues to serve public institutions through his association with various Public Service Commissions and academic bodies across India, in academic and advisory capacities. His deep experience in governance, public administration, institutional evaluation and policy implementation gives him valuable insight into the regulatory and administrative framework within which government incentive and support schemes actually operate.
